What does the Ordinance of April 8, 2020 say?
1.Prohibition of dismissals for a reason other than gross misconduct, under penalty of nullity;
2. Use of technical unemployment is possible only after consultation with staff representatives regarding the possibility or not of implementing alternative measures;
3. A minimum wage is guaranteed to the employee in exchange for his availability for the employer and his readiness to perform tasks within his area of competence;
4. These exceptional provisions only concern employees under open-ended employment contract. They are applicable retroactively from March 14, 2020 until the end of the application of the enabling law relating to rotective measures against Covid-19.
